Indivisible Aurora acknowledges the dignity and humanity of every resident of our Aurora community. We are unflinching allies of minoritized communities. To that end, we will unequivocally advocate for community empowerment, civic engagement, democratic values, and working toward justice and equity. Our members are committed to doing the hard work required to support and affirm our citizens, especially those on the margins, and to ensure Aurora remains an inclusive and compassionate city.<\/p>\n

In the current news environment a small progressive, community advocacy organization could get whiplash trying to keep up with all of the concerns to be addressed.<\/p>\n

In order to remain effective in our mission, our primary directive is one of 'focus.' \u00a0The filters we use in deciding on spearheading action on a policy or issue has always been, and remains, two simple queries:<\/p>\n

  1. How does this issue impact Aurora?<\/li>\n
  2. How can we influence or mitigate the impact?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We have been wildly successful by adhering to these two questions in the past and we will continue to let them guide our activity in the future.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>
